The Power of Positive Expectancy!
Do you typically function at the level of your expectations? Most people would say yes.
Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking to an audience of senior citizens. Following my presentation, one of the audience members said, “I am ninety- eight years old and I will remember your speech for a long long time.” Now that’s positive expectancy!
One quality that all tennis champions have is that they expect to win before they ever play their match.
Whatever activity you are involved in, positive expectancy is a powerful force that greatly influences how you perform, because we tend to experience what we expect to experience.
When you have a positive expectancy mindset, it will enable you to get the very best out of your unique skillset.
You are the only person that controls your expectations! Raising your expectations will raise your performance!
